30 Days, 30 Ways for Mothers to Take Care of Themselves {Day 9}: Coffee Dates!

30 Days 30 Ways for MothersTake Care of Yourself Day 9

“As long as there was coffee in the world, how bad could things be?” — Cassandra Clare

Coffee.

The secret to staying sane when CrazyTown happens.

The key to keeping on top of things when it all threatens to teeter-totter.

Coffee.

A cup of steaming hot therapy, as I see it.

Don’t have coffee? No problem. Replace coffee in all the above sentences with whatever helps you get your groove going. Tea, water, juice, smoothies.

The idea is to have a comforting drink 😉 that soothes and sustains us, when we’re *this* close to losing our minds!

Take Care of Yourself with Ease Idea

Today {or this week!} arrange a time when you can get some time out to sit and enjoy a coffee {or whatever else you’d like!}

It doesn’t even have to be out at a café. Simply, make yourself a cuppa and pop on some headphones with your fave music pumping and sit quietly.

You may have to do this either when the kids are in bed, still asleep or at school, so plan smartly.

You’ll be amazed at how wonderful it makes you feel. Calm, clear-headed, in control of the day. Almost unreal. I know!

Take Care of Yourself with Intention
