The quote above could have been written about me. Honest.
Growing up in Canada, I still remember driving around the streets looking at all the Christmas lights. With most families having their houses decked out in lights we could drive around for hours looking at all the beautiful homes.
It was truly magical and to date, the sight of Christmas lights actually, lights up my heart with joy.
This is a tradition that I have passed on to Finlee and Chloe as well. While Australia doesn’t do Christmas lights on as large a scale as Canada, there are quite a few neighbourhoods that really light it up and hearing the kids squeal with delight and watch their eyes go wide with wonder as they look at the decorated homes, does make me feel eight years old again!
