“It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” ― Mother Teresa
That is right. It really doesn’t matter how much you give. What matters is how much love, joy and thoughtfulness you pour into the act of giving.
Our Christmas Cheer activity for today will spark ideas for your family to find a way to give back with joy this holiday season and infuse it with love, warmth and that fuzzy good feeling of being of service and value.

Creating Childhood Memories and Traditions Activity
This holiday season think about what charities or causes your family can support in a way that’s joyful to you.
It could be an orphanage, a home for senior citizens’, a shelter for the homeless or victims of domestic abuse, the Salvation Army K-Mart Wishing Tree.
Choose a charity or cause that you can support year after year so that it becomes a fun and festive family tradition that everyone can excitedly look forward to!
Again, it doesn’t matter how much you do or give. What makes a difference is that you do so with joy in your hearts, love in your soul and a smile on your face.
Teaching kids to give back is best when you can lead by example. So, shortlist a few ways that your family can give back and then, sit down with the kids to discuss with them and ask them which ones they like the most.
Involve them in as many decisions as you possibly can and this Christmas tradition will quickly become one that they’re most excited about, especially when they’ll see faces light up and happiness spread when they contribute.
