30 Days of Christmas Cheer {Day 6}: Popping Around the Christmas Tree with Popcorn Garlands

30 Days to Christmas Cheer Day 6: Popcorn Garlands

Today’s Christmas Cheer challenge is all about a classic tradition, a family favourite that isn’t just tons of fun to do but is also great for improving fine motor skills too.

Yes, we really are all about learning with fun and making memories too!

Creating Childhood Memories and Traditions Activity

Popcorn garlands are an old-world tradition that still holds a charming place in our hearts.

You can string these garlands around your Christmas tree or even, on the mantelpiece. They look delightfully quaint and are a fabulously fun traditio to enjoy every year.

Before you get down to making the garlands, make sure you have everything you need handy – the popped corn, the heavy thread or embroidery floss, the cranberries and the needle.

Also, I suggest making some nice hot cocoa and sitting around the table or on the carpet and pop some Christmas music on for a fun festive touch!
