30 Days 30 Ways for MothersTake Care of Yourself day 23

“Positive thinking is more than just a tagline. It changes the way we behave. And I firmly believe that when I am positive, it not only makes me better, but it also makes those around me better.”~ Harvey Mackay

Positive affirmations can change the way you think, feel and behave.

There’s a reason most of the influential, successful people in the world spend 5 to 10 minutes every morning going over positive affirmations.

They work.

According to The Chopra Center, a daily affirmation plan can help you be more self-aware, keep you motivated, and help you focus on the things that do matter, instead of stressing over the stuff that doesn’t.

Mothers, being as busy as they are, can easily weave in affirmations into their daily routine, giving them the calm, confidence and the comfort they need.

Take Care of Yourself with Ease

Our self-care challenge idea for you today is very simple.

Choose a set of affirmations that resonate with you, the most. They don’t have to be complicated or even, profound. They have to be meaningful to you.

For instance, if you’re working on being more patient… “I am more patient” will be perfect as an affirmation.

You can put them on your refrigerator, in your wallet, on the bathroom mirror or even, the inside of your closet. The idea is you look at them often and you say them often.
