30 Days of Christmas Cheer {Day 15}: Let’s Go Say “Hello” to Santa!

30 Days to Christmas Cheer Meet Santa Day 15

“God put Santa Claus on earth to remind us that Christmas is ‘sposed to be a happy time.” ― Bil Keane

Nothing makes me happier than taking the kids to see Santa to get the early photo and then, have lunch together.

It’s a fun tradition that we’ve enjoyed and while Finlee and Chloe are mighty excited about this, I have to admit, it warms my heart too and I get to be a little child once again.

Creating Childhood Memories and Traditions Activity

Our Christmas Cheer tradition for you today, naturally is to plan to take your kids to meet Santa, take their pictures and follow it up with a fun lunch!

There are a lot of stores that have a Meet Santa day organised for free, like select Target stores as well as Harvey Norman. This year, too, we’ll be headed that way and you can too. You can check with the stores in your area to find out when would they be having a Meet Santa Claus day and schedule it in your calendar!

Don’t forget to take the camcorder and take plenty of pictures.

Tip from a veteran Meet Santa Mum: Get there early in the morning, take snacks with you and remember… Practice Patience. You’ll be dealing with the rest of the other families wanting to create memories, plus other kids. Make it as happy an experience as you can!
