There is a reason it is said that laughter is the best medicine.
According to Dr. Bill Sukala, research has repeatedly shown that laughter plays a significant role in lowering blood pressure, boosts the immune system and lower levels of depression and stress.
In fact, according to a study, 60 elderly women who suffered from depression experienced improvements in mood and life satisfaction when assigned to a Laughter Yoga group.
Take Care of Yourself with Ease
Today’s challenge is a laugh riot! That’s right.
Pick the funniest show on TV, a book of jokes or a ridiculously hilarious movie. And then… Laugh. Like really laugh. Hell…snort if you need to, but get a really good belly laugh going.
I personally love to turn on an episode of Modern Family because I’ll have tears streaming down my face from laughing so hard! You take your pick!
