I remember growing up in Canada, my friends and I would have a lemonade stand every summer. We would prepare our easy lemonade recipe, construct our wooden stand and sell until we were sold out. It was amazing. So when Finlee (my 7 year old) asked to make homemade lemonade today while on his school holidays, I had to say yes.
Ingredients Needed for My Easy Lemonade Recipe
1 3/4 cups or 350 grams of white sugar
10 lemons (this will get you around 350-400ml of juice once squeezed)
8 cups or 1900 ml of water
Directions for Making this Awesome Easy Lemonade Recipe
Step 1: Cut the lemons in half.
Step 2: Squeeze the lemons with a juicer (you can get one at any discount store), take out all the seeds and then pop the lemon juice in the fridge to get cold.
Step 3: Pop the sugar and 1 cup of water into a sauce pan. Bring to a boil and continue to stir until all sugar has dissolved. Place the mixture into another bowl and then put into the refrigerator until completely cooled.
Step 4: In a large bowl, stir together the lemon juice, sugar mixture and 7 cups of water.
Step 5: Pour lemonade into a jug/pitcher.
Step 6: Add some sliced lemons and ice cubes to the jug/pitcher and serve.
Step 7: Sit back, relax and enjoy your homemade lemonade.
Wishing you all a brilliant day,
