“In order to carry a positive action we must develop here a positive vision.”~ Dalai Lama

Oh you’re gonna love the vision board ideas we have for you today! But before we dive in to those.

Here’s a quick look at what are vision boards really and why do us mothers need them now more than ever.

A vision board is a tool to help you focus your attention on where you want to be or what you want to accomplish.

Whether it’s a specific life goal or a state of mind, vision boards can help you clarify and concentrate your attention on who you want to become and what you want to accomplish, in the midst of a busy, distraction-filled day.

Combined with your Daily Affirmations {Day 23} vision boards can be a powerful life-changing tool for you.

You can create a vision board by cutting pictures from magazines and putting on a bulletin board or poster, pinning images on Pinterest or simply, writing words and adding images of things that resonate with you in a Word/Apple Pages file.

Regardless of what method you choose, make sure that your vision board is easily visible to YOU so you can look at it several times during the day.

There are LOADS of vision board ideas but for the sake of this post, we’re going to look at vision board ideas to help you make your self-care a sustainable affair.

Here are some ways you can do that:

Create a theme-based vision board of what you’d like your self-care ritual to look like 6 months down the line.

Make a vision board of your dream or ideal day.

Create a vision board for an area of your life that needs some overhauling. It could be your relationships, your friendships, your health, your home décor, maybe! It doesn’t matter.

The Artful Parent has a step-by-step post on creating vision boards that work.
